We have some serious parking issues where I live. People are always claiming spots and get all mad at each other when someone is in ‘their spot’. I found a wonderful solution to this problem, custom parking lot stencils! We had a meeting with all the people in our building and agreed to have some of these parking lot stencils made. We designed a logo for the stencil and put every ones house number on it. Each family has two parking spots and the remaining spots were for visitors. It was a great idea!

Once our custom parking lot stencils came in we went right to work customizing our lot. All of the neighbors came together to help out and it has made things a lot better around here. We no longer bicker about parking issues when we see each other which is making it easier to get to know each other. We have had several community parties as a result of us getting along better. I wish we would have found out about parking lot stencils sooner!

When I was growing up, my dad worked for a company making automation services machines. Automation services machines are important because they are the machines that power factories. My dad would design machines and parts that would be shipped out to factories all over the world. It was crucial that the parts my dad designed were designed and manufactured perfectly because his clients depended on him and the parts to be ready and working on time. One year my dad was designing a machine for a candy company. The machine would be used to dip chocolates and needed to be able to do a lot of work, but also be delicate and not hurt the chocolates.

My dad was so excited to design this machine. He would come home every night and talk about it and how all of the parts would make this machine the coolest machine he had ever designed. After my dad was finished with the machine design, he sent the plans to the manufacturing part of the company and waited for it to be built. The day the machine was finished my dad took us all to the factory to see it. It was the most beautiful thing we had ever seen. We were so proud of my dad and his work in automation services!

There are so many toys that grown boys love to play with, one of the most bothersome toy for me is a snowmobile. The problem with that toy is the noise. One of the highlights of visiting friends in Queens is taking a trip to the restaurant Pio Pio. One of the many reasons my friends and I love to go is because it is very family friendly. The kids love the atmosphere and the food as much as we do!

The Queens Pio Pio we frequently go to is spacious and colorfully decorated with Peruvian murals, creating an inviting and comfortable ambience for a gathering of family and friends. The service is great and the food comes out promptly, mostly due to the simple yet delicious menu. Offering primarily different versions of rotisserie chicken and seafood platters coupled with scrumptious sides, the food at New York City Pollo Pio Pio is served family style. My friends and I take advantage of the large, family style portions served and help ourselves to a few of our favorite dishes, never forgetting to ask for extra portions of their incredible spicy green sauce.

There are several Pio Pio restaurants located in Manhattan, Queens, and Bronx. We have been to many different locations and have never been disappointed. We often choose Pio Pio because the food is reasonably priced and there seems to be one close by no matter where we are in Queens. In fact, when my kids are running errands with me and get hungry, they often request to go to Pio Pio. Since I love the restaurant so much myself, I never refuse.

An Emergency Dentist Saved My Vacation

Recently, I took a trip to Spain. Hours before my flight took off – a redeye flight – I was celebrating my travel plans with my newly-official boyfriend over a bowl of mixed nuts. As luck would have it I accidentally bit down hard on a walnut shell, shattering my bicuspid. It was rather late on a Saturday evening and I knew that the only help I had a chance of getting at that hour was an emergency dentist. I searched a search engine for an emergency dentist in my area, and was fortunate enough to find that an on-call emergency dentist was very near to my boyfriend’s home. I called the dentist and explained my situation, and he told me to meet him at his office an hour from the time I called.

When I finally made it to the dental office, I explained that I had a flight leaving in five hours. He was able to remove the fragments of tooth left over, place a temporary cap where the shattered tooth once was, and called in a prescription for pain medication to tide me over on the long flight to Europe.

I was so fortunate to not only have found an emergency dentist, but a dentist that is part of a cosmetic dentistry office and was able to make his patch-up job look simply lovely. I returned home from my trip three weeks later to the temporary cap still perfectly intact!
